Ken Holec
Chief Executive Officer
Ken Holec has 15 years of President/CEO experience at two of Minnesota's largest enterprise software product companies. He completed 13 years, 8 as CEO, at Lawson Software, an enterprise business applications software provider. He spent 8 years at ShowCase Corporation, a worldwide provider of enterprise intelligence software solutions until they were acquired by SPSS in 2001. He was with both companies from shortly after they generated their initial revenues until they reached approximately 50M in annual sales. More recently he has served as the interim CEO of Peopleclick in Raleigh, North Carolina. Peopleclick provides workforce solutions to help enterprises efficiently build and manage a productive and diverse workforce.
Ken has extensive experience in enterprise software strategy, marketing, sales, organizational development, financing and multinational operations. Mr. Holec is also currently Chairman of Revation Systems, and has prior Board of Director experience with other software companies including SPSS (SPSS) and Stellent (STEL). He holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota and is an OPM graduate of Harvard University.
Doug Berg
Founder, Chief Innovation Officer
Doug Berg is Founder and Chief Innovation Officer of Minneapolis-based Jobs2Web Inc. and is an expert in online recruiting strategies. Doug has worked with hundreds of companies to leverage the internet for recruiting on the web, and is a pioneer in the interactive recruiting industry. Prior to Jobs2Web, Doug founded techies.com which was a leading technology career site which had nearly 1 million IT professional members nationally, and won PC Weeks number 1 career website in 1999. Doug was also founder and CEO of Quantum Consulting & Placement a Minneapolis based IT consulting and placement services company. Doug is frequently quoted in the press on workforce and career related trends including major publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Business 2.0 and is a featured speaker/presenter at HR and technology conferences, and holds an honorary Doctorate Degree from Capella University.
Peter Brasket
Co-Founder, Senior Vice President, Business Development
Peter Brasket is a co-founder of Jobs2Web and is a leader in business development, sales, channel development and corporate management in the fast-growth technology industry. He has extensive experience in e-commerce, staffing, advertising, and online promotion. Before helping to found Jobs2Web, Peter was a leader at techies.com, a national technology careers site, where his business and corporate development efforts helped grow registered membership to nearly 1 million technology professionals in three years. Peter's international focus (he speaks fluent Japanese) helped him create and drive a highly successful channels program for Gartner Group, an international leader in IT analysis. Peter has also built channels, led offshore engineering projects and managed other overseas ventures for J3 Learning and Varitronics.
Steve Shaffer
Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer
Steve Shaffer has played key roles in finance, operations and business development for high growth technology companies and was part of the investor group that provided initial funding to launch Jobs2Web. Shaffer’s experience includes public accounting (Grant Thornton) and manufacturing (Sara Lee). Most recently he served as CFO & VP of Business Development for Harland Medical Systems, a venture backed medtech company. Shaffer holds an M.B.A. from the University of Illinois-Chicago and a B.A.in philosophy from Wheaton College. He also passed the CPA exam in 1994.
Brett Keirstead
Vice President, Sales
Brett Keirstead is an experienced sales leader in the HR and Online Business to Business sales marketplace. Brett has held Sales and Business Development leadership roles over the past 18 years at such diverse employers as Ceridian, Digital River and most recently, SurePayroll. He has a formal background in various documented sales methodologies including Strategic and Conceptual Selling, SPIN Selling and other complex sales disciplines.
Throughout his career, Brett has received numerous individual sales achievement and sales leadership awards. As well, Brett?s teams have been top performers and he has consistently produced regional and national award winners and future sales managers. His objective is to build and expand Jobs2Web's high performing, high energy, disciplined sales team to help capitalize on the extraordinary growth opportunity ahead of Jobs2Web.
Brett is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Finance/Accounting.
Jon Greene
Vice President, Client Services
Jon Greene is a seasoned recruitment marketing strategist and relationship leader with an accomplished track record as both an agency and corporate executive. After holding senior client development roles for more than 12 years at JWT INSIDE and TMP on clients such as FedEx, Hilton Hotels and Edward Jones, he moved to the corporate side and launched the Employment Marketing function for Ameriprise Financial after they spun off from American Express. He then served as a VP there, first in the field sales organization over advisor recruiting and then in HR over enterprise-wide Talent Acquisition strategy, technology and operations before joining Jobs2Web.
Jon has extensive experience in recruitment marketing planning and strategy, analytics, employer branding, employee engagement, sourcing, assessment and niche recruiting (i.e., sales, diversity and campus). With a reputation for being a thoughtful and innovative problem solver with strong cross-functional leadership experience, Jon’s objective is to lead and motivate the Client Services team to deliver ongoing value and results, and develop effective, long term client partnerships.
Jon is a graduate of Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin.
